romance comic featuring original characters mimi and nai. a comic companion to a queer romance novel i’m working on. traditional comic formats were frustrating and restricting to my artistic practice so i made the decision to go without them and challenged myself to make a coherent story without borders. the first instance of this in my work is the “multilocation” comic companion. this style offers me the freedom i need to tell stories the way i see them in my head.
